Biography

Andrea Paola Argüelles is an Associate Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at The Pennsylvania State University. She has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research focuses on dynamic systems, acoustics, vibrations, energy infrastructure, and storage devices. She actively participates in mentoring students and advancing research initiatives within her department.
