Biography

Andrea Benedetti is a biostatistician and associate professor jointly appointed in the Departments of Medicine and Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Occupational Health. He has authored 150 peer-reviewed articles and has been supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé as a Chercheur Boursier. He also holds operating funds from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. His research interests primarily focus on statistical challenges in individual patient data meta-analysis, including applications for depression screening and the study of multiple drug-resistant tuberculosis. Benedetti is involved in the DEPRESSD Collaboration, directed by Dr. Brett Thombs.
