Biography

Andrea DePetris completed her doctorate at the University of Connecticut, followed by a predoctoral internship at the Veteran Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System in Newington and postdoctoral work at Columbia University. DePetris has been engaged in research at the Cambridge Health Alliance Center for Multicultural Mental Health Research and the University of Connecticut. DePetris appreciates the interrelation between mental health and physical health, taking into account emotional, spiritual, and social environmental contexts. Her training in clinical health psychology, Kripalu yoga, and integrative nutrition informs her holistic approach to care, where she tailors her methods to align with individuals' unique constitutions and socially-embedded experiences.
