Biography

Dr. Andrea Kalus is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Washington and the holder of the John E. Olerud Endowed Chair in Dermatology Training. She is a board-certified dermatologist based at the UW Medical Center-Roosevelt Dermatology Center and serves as Co-Director of the Rheumatology-Dermatology Clinic. Olerud Resident Teaching Award in 2010. Her clinical interests encompass autoimmune diseases, complex medical dermatology, and phototherapy. Dr. Kalus collaborates with multidisciplinary research teams on studies related to lupus and dermatomyositis, focusing on skin manifestations of these systemic diseases. She is actively involved in the Washington State Dermatology Association and various dermatology professional organizations, also volunteering for community advocacy.
