Dr. Andrea Lawlor

Biography

Andrea Lawlor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at McMaster University, where she also teaches in the Public Policy (Digital Society) program. Her research primarily focuses on the study of Canadian public policy, public opinion, administrative election law, and party regulation during Canadian federal elections. Andrea's scholarly works have been published in prominent journals such as the Canadian Journal of Political Science. She holds a PhD in Law from Western University and has extensive academic training, including a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley. Andrea is committed to bringing a rigorous analytical approach to the political challenges facing Canada today, and she actively engages with students, encouraging critical thinking and informed discussion about policy issues.
