Andrea Sanchez earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Murcia, Spain, and completed her residency in Anesthesia, obtaining a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2016. She became an ACVAA Diplomate that same year. Sanchez has several published works addressing the pharmacokinetics of various anesthetic drugs in healthy canines, the cardiorespiratory implications of antihistamines in anesthetized dogs, and the anesthetic sparing effects of midazolam, among other contributions to veterinary anesthesiology.
