Andrea Sanchez earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Murcia, Spain, and completed her residency in Anesthesia, obtaining a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2016. She became an ACVAA Diplomate that same year. Following her training, she worked as a veterinary anesthesiologist specialist in private practices across Ontario before returning to the OVC in 2017 as an Assistant Professor in the Anesthesia section.
