Biography

Andrea Stevenson Won is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at Cornell University, where she directs the Virtual Embodiment Lab. Her research focuses on how mediated experiences, particularly through immersive media, influence people’s perceptions and behaviors. She investigates clinical applications of virtual reality, exploring how nonverbal behavior in rendered virtual environments can affect collaboration and teamwork.
