Professor Andreas Demosthenous (FIEEE, FIET, CEng) received a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering from the University of Leicester, U.K., in 1992; an M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Technology from Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., in 1994; and a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Electrical Engineering from University College London (UCL), London, U.K., in 1998. Professor Demosthenous has served in various editorial roles including Associate Editor and Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, and he is a member of numerous committees for IEEE conferences. He has graduated 30 PhD students and has been involved in cross-disciplinary research with numerous collaborations both in the UK and internationally.
