Andreas Televantos is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and a Hanbury Fellow Tutor in Law at Lincoln College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on trusts, fiduciaries, equitable remedies in the commercial sphere, with a particular interest in using historical legal methods to illuminate modern legal issues in private law and exploring the nature of fiduciary duties owed by the Crown to indigenous peoples. He authored the monograph "Capitalism and Corporations" (OUP 2020), which received the Peter Birks Prize for Outstanding Legal Scholarship in 2021 from the Society of Legal Scholars. In 2022, he was honored with the Teaching Excellence (Early Career) Award from the Social Sciences Division of the University of Oxford.
