Andrew Fix is an Assistant Professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, with a courtesy appointment in mechanical engineering. He is a faculty member of the Building Energy Environments (BEE) group. Prior to joining UT Austin, Fix was a postdoctoral faculty member at the Center for Environmental Energy Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, under the guidance of Professors Yunho Hwang and Rainhard Radermacher. Andrew has also participated in various fellowships and competitions including the U.S. Department of Energy IBUILD Fellowship and was a winner of the U.S. Department of Energy JUMP into STEM Competition in 2023.
