Biography

Andrew Gillman is a Specialist Physician with a focus on Sleep Medicine, Respiratory Clinical Allergy, and has a significant background in his field. He completed his specialist training at the Alfred Hospital over ten years ago, where he specialized in Sleep and Respiratory Medicine and completed his fellowship in Clinical Allergy. Currently, he works at the Alfred Eastern Health as a Specialist Consultant Physician, linking his extensive knowledge to various research activities, particularly focusing on obstructive sleep apnoea, asthma, and allergies. He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, as well as a full member of the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. His practice and research align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, targeting global issues such as poverty reduction and environmental health. His collaborative efforts in research span various international territories, reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge in his specialty areas.
