Professor Andrew Gosler is a leading figure in the field of Ethno-ornithology, combining Ornithology and Anthropology to examine the relationship between humans and birds. Based at the University of Oxford, he has held a joint position at the Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology and the Institute of Human Sciences, fostering significant research on woodland bird ecology, particularly the Great Tit population in Wytham from 1981 to 2012.
