Biography

Drew Hilton is a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University, where he serves as the Director of Innovation in Computing Education. His primary focus is on teaching professional-level programming skills to master's students in Electrical and Computer Engineering, preparing them for careers in software engineering. Professor Hilton teaches a three-week introduction to programming course using Python as part of Duke's Master of Interdisciplinary Data Science and the Duke Center for Computational Thinking.
