Biography

Dr. Jones' research uses engineering policy analysis to help solve global challenges related to water health. His work encompasses the transport biological interfaces, development of tools to treat biofilms responsible for vascular graft infections, skin infections, and waterborne diseases, as well as addressing mold issues in buildings. He is the 2021 recipient of the NIH R35 Maximizing Investigator’s Research Award and has received a Sloan SEED fund award to develop tools for water quality monitoring. Dr. Jones has supervised various students across different levels and presented at numerous conferences and seminars.
