Dr. Andrew Kitlowski

Biography

Andrew Kitlowski is an affiliate faculty member at the Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin, with a medical degree from the University of Colorado obtained in 1999. He completed his residency in 2003 at UCSF Fresno and has been a faculty member since then. His academic interests include simulation medicine and airway management. He also serves as the simulation director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Kitlowski is committed to training physician leaders who are prepared to tackle systemic challenges in health care while providing individual patient care. He is passionate about person-centered and integrated care, hoping to improve health standards in Central Texas. In his personal life, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, engaging in fitness and sports activities, and competing in triathlons. He has a background in gymnastics and has run marathons, and he currently focuses on improving his swimming speed.
