Andrew Lewis is a Principal Investigator and a BHF Intermediate Clinical Research Fellow at the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, University of Oxford. As a Consultant Cardiologist at the Oxford Heart Centre and an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist, he leads a spatial cardiology group focusing on the development and application of advanced imaging techniques at subcellular and whole-heart scales to understand the mechanisms of cardiovascular disease. Before his current role, Andrew completed his doctoral research in the translational cardiovascular imaging group under the supervision of Professor Stefan Neubauer at Oxford and held a post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Professor Matthias Nahrendorf's laboratory. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and a Kemp Postdoctoral Fellow at Lincoln College, Oxford.
