Biography

Andrew Luesley is an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law. His teaching and research concentrate on contract law, remedies, and the legal challenges posed by emerging technologies, particularly in the field of blockchain and crypto commerce. He holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from the Peter Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and is currently completing his PhD, focusing on good faith in crypto contracting. Before joining the University of Victoria, he taught at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law. In addition to his academic pursuits, Andrew enjoys cooking for his family, traveling, and learning Mandarin.
