Andrew Medeiros is an Associate Professor at Dalhousie University in the School for Resource and Environmental Studies. His research interests focus on understanding the influence of environmental stress on freshwater systems, both in historical and contemporary contexts. He has completed post-doctoral fellowships at Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo. Throughout his career, Andrew has published numerous papers on various aspects of freshwater sustainability, including hydrologic monitoring tools for municipal planning in the Arctic and the biological responses to hydroecological changes. He has received recognition for his work as a W. Garfield Weston Postdoctoral Fellow from 2012 to 2014.
