Dr. Andrew Read Fuller

Biography

Andrew Read-Fuller is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of the Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Residency Program at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in 2014, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA in 2011 as part of a concurrent DDS/MS program. His surgical training includes a Certificate in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from UT Southwestern Medical Center, completed in 2017, following an internship in General Surgery. Dr. Read-Fuller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and has held numerous leadership roles within national and international organizations, such as the OMS Foundation Board of Directors and the American Association of OMS. His research interests include a broad scope of oral maxillofacial surgery, with particular emphasis on the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, dental implants, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) diseases, pathological lesions of the face and jaws, peripheral nerve repair, and facial trauma. He has been actively involved in professional development and education within the field, serving as a President of the Resident Organization of the American Association of OMS.
