Biography

Andrew W. Reddie is an Associate Research Professor at the University of California, Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy and the founder of the Berkeley Risk Security Lab. His research intersects technology, politics, and security, particularly examining how emerging military capabilities shape the international order, with a focus on nuclear weapons policy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence governance. Reddie is known for pioneering the use of wargaming methods in classroom experimental settings. Reddie has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.Phil. in International Relations from Oxford University, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley obtained in 2019.
