Biography

Andrew Sanger is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. His research focuses on critical structural questions surrounding international law and global governance. He examines the regulation and responsibility of global private actors in relation to international law and the state, and is particularly interested in how international law interacts with normative systems, the implications of digital technologies, and issues of human rights and law.
