Dr. Andrew Saunders

Biography

Andrew Saunders is a Clinical Associate Professor in Pediatrics at Stanford University, leading the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. His academic focus centers on diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine, with special interests in LGBTQIA+ health, ethics in technology, global health, medical education, public health, and physician wellness. Dr. Saunders has been an active member in professional organizations, including the American Medical Association since 2008 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He completed his fellowship at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and holds board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics. His medical education was obtained from Dartmouth Medical School.
