Andrew Sneddon is a Scottish artist living and working in the UK. He is a lecturer in Fine Art, teaching the MFA/MA Contemporary Art Practice course at Edinburgh College of Art, part of the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on complex interactions with place through site-responsive artworks, emphasizing cultural memory and the poetic potential of place. He has contributed to exhibitions, papers, and articles on topics such as place-making and situational art practices, co-authoring works with international collaborators. Additionally, he co-directs the interdisciplinary project Gravity, aimed at fostering critical dialogue around contemporary visual art practices.
