Andrew Stergachis is an Associate Professor in the Division of Medical Genetics and Genome Sciences at the University of Washington. He completed his MD at the University of Washington in 2015 and earned his PhD in Genome Sciences from the same institution in 2013. Prior to his current role, he completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Medical Genetics at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. With the advent of genomics as a cornerstone of modern medicine, much of his work seeks to elucidate the impact of non-coding epigenetic variation on health outcomes. In addition to his research, Dr. Stergachis actively sees patients at the UW Adult Genetics Clinic and the UW Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic, where he applies his clinical expertise to a broad array of genetic conditions.
