Biography

Andrew Street joined the London School of Economics in September 2017. He previously worked at the University of York from 1995, where he served as Director of the Health Policy team at the Centre for Health Economics and also directed the Economics and Social Health Care Research Unit (ESHCRU). Andrew has published numerous articles focusing on health system productivity, hospital efficiency, performance measurement, patient reported outcomes, and integrated care, notably the Hospital Frailty Risk Score (HFRS). His expertise includes advising health ministries in England and Australia. He was also the editor of the Journal of Health Economics from 2006 to 2018.
