Biography

Andrew White completed his PhD at the University of Queensland in 2020, where he was mentored by Dr. Thomas Durek and Professor David Craik. His doctoral research focused on the synthesis and structural analysis of disulfide-rich peptides, with a particular emphasis on applications in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. In 2021, Andrew relocated to the Australian National University, where he joined Professor Lara Malins’ research group as a Research Fellow. Andrew's broad research interests encompass the synthesis, structure, and function of peptides, with a focus on their potential applications in medicinal, agricultural, and biotechnological fields.
