Biography

Andrew Whitmore is a Senior Lecturer in the area of Information Systems at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. His research interests focus on decision support systems, economics of information, and IT-enabled supply chains. Whitmore's work has been published in various journals, including Information Systems Frontiers, Government Information Quarterly, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and IEEE Software. Before joining Cornell, he was a faculty member at the University of South Florida–Sarasota and Simmons College in Boston. Whitmore also has experience as an economist and served as a Consumer Price Index auditor for Ernst & Young in New York City.
