Biography

Andy McNeil currently serves as the Director of the Law, Science & Technology Program at Georgia Tech's Jimmy Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy. He is also the coach of the Georgia Tech Mock Trial team, which is recognized as one of the premier undergraduate mock trial programs in the country and regularly competes for national championships. McNeil earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with high honors from Georgia Tech in 2001 and went on to obtain a Juris Doctor with the highest honors from Syracuse University College of Law in 2005. He began his legal career at King & Spalding in Atlanta, where he focused on intellectual property matters, including trademarks and domain names. In 2007, he joined Morris, Manning & Martin, engaging in commercial litigation and technology-related legal issues. McNeil co-founded a company specializing in wholesale apparel and served as its General Counsel and Vice President, overseeing various legal matters for the rapidly expanding enterprise. He is the Chair of the Board of Directors for BlazeSports America, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children and veterans with physical disabilities, which began as the legacy organization for the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia.
