Biography

Professor Ane Tamayo is a leading academic in the field of Accounting at the London School of Economics. She has extensive experience in examining the intersection of financial reporting disclosure, corporate social responsibility, and governance. Her research contributions have significantly advanced our understanding of empirical asset pricing and the role of financial intermediaries in markets. Professor Tamayo serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting and has held editorial positions in prominent journals such as the European Accounting Review. Her work has been recognized through various awards, including the Standard Life Investments Prize and multiple fellowships at the University of Rochester. She is also a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research.
