Biography

Anette Grønning holds a PhD in Digital Communication from CBS (Copenhagen Business School) in 2006 and a Master's degree in Linguistic Informatics from the University of Southern Denmark in 1999. She has worked as a communication employee at Kruuse A/S, 3L, and Xyron from 1991 to 2002. Following her PhD, she completed a postdoc at the University of Southern Denmark from 2006 to 2008, and has held positions such as Assistant Professor from 2009 to 2012, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012. She has been the Research Leader since 2018 at the University of Southern Denmark, focusing on the impacts of digital messages on the relationship between professional and non-professional entities, such as between doctors and patients. Her research interests encompass Digital Messages and Network Media, Media and Communication Theory, Discourse Analysis, Organizational Communication, and Qualitative Methods.
