Angela Bartholomew is an Assistant Professor of Modern & Contemporary Art History at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She received her PhD in 2021 with a dissertation entitled 'Disruptive Attitudes: Artists Counter Art Exhibiting Low Countries (1985-1991)'. She has also coordinated the MA Contemporary Art History Program and currently serves as co-coordinator for the MA Curating Arts & Culture.
