Biography

Angela M. Crawley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Ottawa. She is also a scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute within the Chronic Disease Program. Dr. Crawley completed her PhD at the University of Guelph and has a Bachelor of Science from McGill University. She has a strong focus on anti-viral responses, particularly in relation to HIV and Hepatitis C. Her research interests also extend into T-cell biology and immunotherapy. In addition, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University in the Department of Biology. Dr. Crawley is committed to advancing our understanding of immunopathogenesis and contributing to the development of new treatments for viral infections.
