Biography

Angela Krutish graduated from the Master of Science in Genetic Counselling Program at the University of Manitoba in 2019. She has worked as a clinical genetic counsellor and returned to the University of Manitoba as the project manager for the Canadian Prairie Metabolic Network, a Genome Canada-funded research study. Angela has continued her research work on genetic assistants as a co-Primary Investigator alongside Jessica Hartley. As an associate program director and faculty member in the Genetic Counselling Program, she is involved in clinical supervision, teaching, course coordination, and the development of the research curriculum. Angela has actively participated in the broader genetic counselling community, serving on various committees including the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors Research Committee and the American Board of Genetic Counseling Practice Analysis Advisory Committee.
