Biography

Angela Park is a JUNO Award-winning pianist known for her stunningly beautiful pianism and beautiful tone sensitivity. Her versatility as a soloist and chamber musician has led her to perform in Canada, the United States, Europe, Japan, and Mexico, notably in concert series like Montreal’s Pro Musica and Ottawa Chamberfest. Angela has developed a passion for chamber music since her early music studies and has collaborated with various distinguished musicians, including violist Sharon Wei and cellist Rachel Mercer, with whom she founded the Mercer-Park Duo. Angela has recorded numerous albums featuring Canadian contemporary composers and has performed with orchestras such as Sinfonia Toronto. She earned her Doctorate in Performance from Université de Montréal and holds degrees from the University of Toronto. Previously, Angela served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music before joining Western University as an Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano in 2019.
