Angelica V. Hagsand defended her doctoral dissertation in 2014 at the Department of Psychology, University of Gothenburg, focusing on how alcohol affects witnesses' memory. Hagsand also serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Applied Cognitive Psychology and is part of various research groups, such as the Addiction Psychology: Experimental Clinical Research (APEC) and the Integrative Cognitive Neuroscience Lab (ICON).
