Dr. Angelo Marino

Biography

Angelo G Marino is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his degree in osteopathic medicine. Dr. Marino completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with a focus on performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that utilize X-ray, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI to guide catheters and needles for targeted treatments. His expertise includes treating complex conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, venous disease, and vascular abnormalities. Dr. Marino's clinical interests also encompass procedures for hemodialysis access maintenance and the creation of percutaneous endovascular fistulas. He has contributed to several publications and is recognized for his research output in minimally invasive procedures. Furthermore, he advocates for patient care approaches that involve shorter recovery times and lower risks compared to traditional open surgeries.
