Dr. Angie Paik

Biography

Angie Paik, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a focus on hand microsurgery. She is committed to teaching and mentoring surgical students. Dr. Paik earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at Brown University, followed by a fellowship in Hand Microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco. Her clinical expertise encompasses upper and lower extremity reconstruction and gender affirmation surgery, with additional interests in aesthetic surgery and body contouring. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters, presenting her work at national conferences. Further, she has served as a Research Fellow in the Division of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, demonstrating her dedication to advancing the field through research and clinical practice.
