Biography

Angus Wilkinson is a Professor and Associate Chair of Academic Programs at the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology. His work features fundamental studies of oxides, oxyfluorides, and fluorides, with a particular emphasis on structural disorder's role in influencing physical properties under varying pressures and stresses. Angus is also engaged in the development of novel synchrotron X-ray methods to analyze materials under extreme conditions. His interests include inorganic materials chemistry, high-pressure properties, and innovative cement systems with reduced CO2 emissions.
