Dr. Anika Ahmad

Biography

Anika Ahmad is an Associate Lecturer at University College London's School of Pharmacy, where she co-leads modules for the MPharm undergraduate degree program focused on Practice and Policy. In addition to her academic role, Anika is a practicing pharmacist and independent prescriber, actively engaging in clinical practice weekly. She has a robust educational background, holding a Master of Pharmacy from Medway School of Pharmacy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice from Queen's University Belfast. Anika has also completed specialized training in Independent Prescribing from the University of Reading. Her commitment to education is further exemplified through her Fellowships with the Higher Education Academy, where she achieved both Fellowship and Associate Fellowship designations. Through her teaching and practice, Anika blends academic knowledge with real-world experience, contributing significantly to the pharmacy education landscape in the United Kingdom.
