Anique Hommels holds a special chair in Sociohistorical Technology Studies at Maastricht University, supported by the Foundation History Technology. She has also received a Brooke Hindle Fellowship from the American Society for the History of Technology and led various research projects related to European governance of critical infrastructure. Her collaborations include working on the Embedterlabs project with the Maastricht Sustainability Institute, focusing on small-scale urban experimentation and policy integration.
