Biography

Anirban Mazumdar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He specializes in the field of Flight Mechanics and Controls, with extensive research in Robotics, Autonomy, and Human Interactions. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he also completed his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering. His academic work focuses on integrating autonomy technologies into flight systems and improving human-robot interactions, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and safety in aerospace applications. Mazumdar's contributions to the field have been recognized through various projects and collaborations that emphasize multidisciplinary approaches to engineering challenges.
