Biography

Anirudh Sivaraman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. His research interests lie broadly in computer networks, focusing on enabling ubiquitous network programmability. Sivaraman has developed new hardware designs and system software, including compilers and multi-tenant runtimes, aimed at applications such as distributed consensus and fair-access stock exchanges. He works on building substantial hardware-software systems to enhance network capabilities. Additionally, Sivaraman serves as a technical advisor for Clockwork and collaborates closely with the P4 community and Barefoot Networks, which is now part of Intel. He completed his PhD at MIT in 2017 and holds a BTech from IIT Madras, awarded in 2010.
