Dr. Anis Dizdarevic

Biography

Anis Dizdarevic, MD, is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center, where he serves as the Director of Regional Orthopedic Anesthesia. He completed his fellowship training at Harvard Medical School and has developed a special interest in perioperative pain management, ultrasound-guided interventions, minimally invasive anesthesia, and multimodal analgesia. Dr. Dizdarevic has actively participated in clinical research and has contributed to medical education by teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at Columbia University. He has presented his work at numerous regional, national, and international pain and anesthesia conferences. His areas of expertise include managing conditions such as back pain, cancer pain management, complex regional pain syndrome, failed back surgical syndrome, headache, and other pain disorders. Dr. Dizdarevic utilizes advanced techniques such as intrathecal drug delivery systems, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation in his practice.
