Biography

Anita Lakra is an instructor in the accounting area at the University of Calgary. She received her Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Calgary and subsequently became a chartered accountant working for KPMG. Anita teaches both financial and managerial accounting courses in the undergraduate program. Her work has been published in Canadian Accounting Perspectives, and she is currently developing a managerial accounting case. In addition to her academic role, she is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. Outside of her professional commitments, Anita enjoys traveling and participating in various sports.
