Anita Liebenau is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW Sydney, where she joined in 2018. She has a strong research background in extremal probabilistic combinatorics, working on enumeration problems related to large discrete structures. Her research interests encompass d-regular graphs, Ramsey theory, and combinatorial games that are played on graphs. Before joining UNSW, she held a DECRA Fellowship postdoc position at Monash University under the supervision of Nick Wormald, and worked as a postdoc at the University of Warwick with Dan Král’. Anita completed her PhD in 2013 at the Free University of Berlin under the supervision of Tibor Szabó. Through her work, she contributes significant findings in the field of combinatorics, addressing complex problems in discrete mathematics.
