Biography

Anita Perr utilizes collaborative teaching methodologies to guide students in addressing clinically relevant issues within Occupational Therapy. Her collaborations with NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and Tandon School of Engineering have been pivotal in developing the NYU Ability Project, which focuses on assistive technologies. Although she retired in 2024, Anita continues to teach as an adjunct, sharing her insights through courses that prepare students for careers in Occupational Therapy, covering subjects like application of assistive technologies and rehabilitation evaluation. Her courses are designed to ensure students develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs and technologies relevant to individuals with disabilities.
