Dr. Anjela Galan

Biography

Anjela Galan, MD, is an Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology and Surgical Pathology. She specializes in dermatopathology, focusing on the diagnosis of tumors and inflammatory skin disorders using advanced techniques. Dr. Galan is an integral member of the Yale Cancer Center Melanoma Program, collaborating with a specialized team that includes oncologic dermatologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists. She is also a panel member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network for melanoma. Her research interests include both melanocytic and non-melanocytic neoplasms as well as infectious granulomatous disorders. Dr. Galan is committed to staying current with advancements in dermatopathology and is dedicated to providing high-quality care to her patients, following the principle of treating patients as she would like to be treated herself.
