Biography

Ankur Jain investigates the role of RNA self-assembly in cellular organization and neurodegenerative disease. He studies how biomolecules in a cell self-organize, with a particular interest in understanding membrane-free cellular compartments and how RNA granules form and function. His lab develops new biochemical and biophysical techniques to investigate these compartments and understand their dysfunction in human disease.
