Dr. Ankur Lohachab

Biography

Ankur completed a PhD in Information Technology at the University of Tasmania, Australia, with a dissertation titled 'Logic Distributed Ledger Technology: Formal Study'. He also holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science & Engineering, receiving a university medal for his M.Tech. research. Currently, he is a Teaching Assistant at Maastricht University, involved in courses including Data Science for Healthcare at the Institute of Education, Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences. Previously, he served as a Visiting Lecturer at Westa College in Southwest University, China, where he taught Computational Intelligence and Networking Antennas. Ankur has held teaching roles at the University of Tasmania, covering courses such as Digital Electronics, Data Management Technology, Big Data Analytics, and Operating Systems. He is an active contributor to the academic community, serving as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences in his areas of expertise. He has also been involved in grant evaluation and editorial boards for the Czech Science Foundation and the National Research Development Agency in Chile. His reviewing contributions include esteemed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, Future Generation Computer Systems, and many others. Ankur has participated in international research collaborations, workshops, and editorial activities related to blockchain, AI transparency, and responsible data science.
