Biography

Ankur Singh is a Professor at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Prof. Singh previously served as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University, where he was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure. His research focuses on bioengineering and engineered materials technologies, particularly in the areas of immuno-engineering, cancer bioengineering, immunomodulation, and micro-nano-bioengineering. His laboratory aims to develop living immune tissues and organoids that mimic immunological events to facilitate the discovery and translation of immunotherapies. Prof. Singh has received multiple awards for his research and teaching, including the National Science Foundation CAREER Award and the Cornell Research Excellence Award. His work is supported by various prestigious organizations, including the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense.
